Sad looking, it was talking to me and saying "take me home"...
Vintage End Table

Painters tape (blue tape) works great, easy to use for taping
furniture, and easy to remove when done painting.
I love painting and spray painting furniture!
I have a paint sprayer too. During the process I
became a little frustrated with the wind blowing the paint, so it turned out to be little challenging.

How about the clover like design? cute.

Sanding is very important step, when painting furniture.
You want to make sure the surface is smooth and dust free before spraying/painting on another coat.
What do you think of the color?
Loving the way it looks, it still has a modern feel and look.
Just the right color!
Sea Foam Green, love this brand works great for me.
The new nozzle makes it even easier to spray.
If you enjoy spray painting like I do, use this cute and inexpensive tool to keep your fingers from cramping.
Works great, and less paint on your fingers.
I really like using sanding blocks, no more scraping my finger tips.
Sanding blocks make my job a whole lot easier, especially
sanding between coats, it covers a larger area without stripping
the paint.
I love how shes turning out, one more coat and shes ready
for my shop!
here is what I used to help my hardware shine!
DIY cleaning your Brass (the real thing) Brasso works great!
it takes about 20-30 minutes to remove the old tarnish.
I used an old toothbrush to get in the crevices.
Note: this stuff really smells, make sure to use
protective gloves, a mask and protective eye wear
when brushing, and possibly in a ventilated area.
Brass handles, looks beautiful.

What a dreamy color. Lovely details and lovely work.
thank you, I truly love this color. I was a little unsure at first, but I love the way it turned out!
This is lovely! Thank you so much for the idea about the blue painters' tape! I am really interested in starting to paint furniture but am not sure where to paint/not to paint. Yours is the first blog post that I've ever seen that addresses that. Do you have any general guidelines for where you put your tape on a piece that has drawers? It looks like you didn't paint the top edge of the drawer (I'm guessing so it slides better?), and maybe the bottom edges of the "frame"... Any feedback would be great! Thanks for the tips you shared!
Hi! Angela thank you for stopping by. To answer your question, I paint the edges and the drawer fronts only, I usually don't paint the inside of the drawers unless or the drawer sides. Unless I am going for a specific style! I like the clean modern look, and the exposed wood on the sides. :)
