{NewBlogPost} Global Blue Mirror: Before & After

A vintage mirror painted Global Blue, its original color was white, remember?. Possibly from the 1960's made from a hard plastic, most likely from a mold. I love the straight lines and a rounded look, than it has a simple design on the very top of the mirror.

I couldn't decide at first on the color. Some of you suggested Cobalt Blue, which is very close to this Global Blue!

Great condition, just needed some TLC

Not sure what the name of the design is at the top

Painting on another mirror that will get a face lift!

A Beautiful color!

here are the tools used:

  • Sponge
  • shop rags
  • Cleaner in a spray bottle (I used Windex)
  • Gray Primer by KRYLON
  • Global Blue by KRYLON
  • Phillips head screw driver (to remove backing)
I hoped you enjoyed and thank you for stopping by.

I love the color but what really makes the mirror stand out so much is the incredibly high gloss. I can't believe that paint came out of a can.
