{NewBlogPost} My #Beautiful #Armoire: A #Classy #Antique

Classy an Antique find, chic, and vintage all in one. I fell in love when I met her, I knew I had to have her at that very moment. Straight line just enough curves and her size is was perfect! I am talking about my Armoire that I purchased at the Flea Market for only $75.00 dollars (I believe) it was a while back and I finally stirred up the courage to paint her. I knew that when I painted her (finally) that it had to be the right paint and the right color and she would have a final resting place for many years to come!. A lovely place in our home, and that is, in our Master bathroom. We love the way she looks and I feel like she was always this color!

                                     Prettier than I thought...

I love the way she looks, @AnnieSloan your
my new BFF
What i love the most about this paint, is
after sanding it's smooth like butta. :0
and I mean extremely smooth...
I can't wait to purchase my next can of paint.

I love butterflies and knew I wanted to add some to
my Armoire, just wasn't sure how? or what?
Then I went to the Dollar Tree the other day, and saw these butterfly clings and thought to myself,
"hey I can add these to my Armoire"!
Even better their transparent...

I was really happy to purchase this for  $1.00
I just stuck them on to the cabinet.
I liked the way it looked, but I wasn't in love with it!
So I thought, I can paint over it slightly
to give it a vintage distressed look!
I did and I love the way it turned out,
don't you?
Now to distress her, just a little.

before...the butterflies
& possibly this chair in the bathroom.

Succulents, and my handmade Bamboo Soy Candle
(For candle orders please email me...)

I love it!

My distressed, chic, beachy, and classy Armoire, love...

here is the before...

In my bedroom, now she has a new home in the
master bathroom.

Thank you for stopping by.

very beautiful! I have an old armoire myself and would love to get over my fear of painting wood and do this same technique. thanks for sharing!

It can be scary, Note: when painting a stained piece of furniture it may bleed through the paint the first and maybe the second coat. Allow to dry completely then paint again. :)
